15 Oct Thursday…with Spindleberry

Last year I discovered Spindleberry, and this year, especially now that I recognise it, I can’t get over how amazing it is!

I saw this little tree last weekend on a bike ride, and today I went along the same route, but in the most inauspicious place along the way, I saw a mass of it… I had to drag the bike and me through long wet grass and was covered in itchy seeds, but it was worth it…and I managed to forage some for the Sheffield workshop at the weekend as well!
