Tuesday…in the garden

Things are a bit hectic at the moment…at this time of year I edit and put together an artists magazine which is always a load of sitting at the computer e-mailing backwards and forwards with the graphic designer. It always feels like a great achievement when it’s done, but it also robs me of some daylight and fresh air!

However I nipped out to the garden at lunchtime today to say a quick hello to my plant family!

I won’t do much word stuff, so hopefully the pictures will do most of the talking today! …new hollyhock growth …love-in-a-mist and valerian seedlings amongst some tulip leaves and lavender  The protective covers are off the Giant Echium…fingers crossed there’s no frost on its way… The Geraniums are getting used to being outdoors again… …new buds on the Virginia Creeper ( an abundance of dysfunctional lighting! ) …the end of the Snowdrops …and a frost bitten African Violet ( I thought it would be ok outside…am hoping it will recover! )
