Friday…with Flat lay Ikebana

Yesterday I was chasing green fields and the blue sky on my bike for a series of photographs I’m working on at the moment…

I was wanting a rose against some blue sky and as the head had already accidentally come off one of the roses I placed it in an empty spindleberry tree which immediately made me think that it looked like a piece of natural ikebana…So today I decided to create a sort of flat lay ikebana reflecting something of the inspiration from yesterday…
 here are the stages of the arrangement…
